A series of unique light objects in which the soft knitted cylinders of pure silk float in an oak frame by the use of tension. This tension is created with 3d printed shapes and copper wire, where the copper wire also acts as a conductor of electricity.
Bringing craftsmanship and technology together. The right balance between machinery, craftsmanship and the use of only the very best materials results in this collection of unique and luxurious products.
PixelXL is a mirror installation that invites people to take a selfie/photo. The installation plays with layering, colour, light and the environment. The pixels are enlarged, filtered, and extruded, creating a fragmented and pimped self-image that is #instagrammable, filter 2.0. The installation is a reflection of how people profile themselves on social media. What do you show of yourself? What is real and what is not real? PixelXL provides an image of yourself with and without a filter, who you are, and how you want the environment to see you.

The Sphere lamp is a research of transforming 3D printing filament into finished products. In stead of printing with the material it is cut into pieces and melted around a form. The idea is that this happens with wastematerial. 3D printed supportmaterial or failed 3D prints will not end up in the trash but will be transformed into new products.
Fragmented 3D prints or a self-portrait. A selfie is always subjective because you choose what you want others to see. Paradox of visual culture, an image can never be purely objective because the maker always has his own point of view or opinion and shows you a version of what he sees.
